Industrial Fire & Hazard Training 

Williams Fire & Hazard Control has fought over 200 of the most challenging fires involving flammable liquids in the petrochemical, oil, and gas (POG) industry over the past 35 years. This experience has been incorporated into the development of response tactics and equipment to successfully and safely extinguish these fires.

Annual Industrial Fire & Hazard Training

The firefighting experts at Williams Fire & Hazard Control share their first-hand experience for combating the largest industry fire incidents during the annual Industrial Fire & Hazard Training. Theory and practical exercises are covered in detail in various operational scenarios, including fire dynamics, foam and powder extinguishing applications, operational logistics, and firefighting of large volumes.

The Williams 2023 Xtreme Industrial Fire & Hazard Training will be held from June 4 to 8, 2023, in College Station, Texas, USA.

Program Details:

The following topics will be covered in the theoretical part of the course:

  • incident analysis

  • foam usage

  • high-volume firefighting and associated equipment

  • hydraulics in firefighting water systems

  • Sharing tips for mutual aid during operations that will help you in your daily work of planning, preparing, and exercising to be as well-prepared as possible for an emergency.

The practical part of the course will cover:

  • pool fires

  • process fires

  • transport fires

  • pressure fires and annular gap fires, extinguished by the participants..

The practical exercises will be supplemented with advice on:

  • water supply

  • foam proportioning

  • hose-laying systems to modular systems for large-scale firefightin
